NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE

Saturday afternoon, May 30th 2020 - Harlem, New York City.

A group of about 100 protesters march through the streets of central Harlem. In peaceful formation they chant NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE as they move forward, voices and homemade placards raised in unison. Bystanders chime in, giving support as police vehicles pass by without stopping. No violence, no hatred. They just want their voices to be heard.

NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE is part of Katzenstein’s larger body of work, The Human Experience, a collection of his visual explorations that span over the past 30 years. His work presents the positive aspects of peoples and cultures, and takes the viewer on countless journeys near and far.
